Amber's Angels turns everyday drivers and drone pilots into a real-time AI search network — activated automatically during AMBER Alerts to find missing children and vulnerable adults faster.
How It Works
FEMA IPAWS issues an AMBER Alert. Our platform detects it within 60 seconds and pushes a mission notification to enrolled volunteers in the area.
Volunteers accept the mission in the app and drive their assigned sector — or simply their normal route — with the app scanning their camera feed in real time.
Our Cascade Inference engine checks every frame for the suspect vehicle — plate, make, model, color, and year range. Frames are deleted immediately after processing.
Every AI detection is reviewed by a trained coordinator before anything reaches law enforcement. No automated alerts — ever.
Confirmed leads are sent to law enforcement with GPS coordinates, timestamp, and vehicle details — a complete lead package, not just a plate number.
Alert Types
Our platform activates for any government-issued missing person emergency — because every vulnerable life deserves the same urgency.
Activated when a child under 18 is believed to have been abducted. Highest priority. Time-critical.
Issued for adults with dementia or Alzheimer's who have wandered or gone missing.
Georgia's alert for at-risk adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
For missing individuals with a broad range of disabilities who may need immediate assistance.
Issued when a law enforcement officer is missing or endangered. Volunteers exercise extra caution.
Privacy by Design
Every architectural decision we've made prevents the platform from becoming something it should never be. These aren't policies we can override — they're built into the system.
Frames are analyzed in memory and deleted immediately. We never write raw footage to disk.
Detection is dormant between alerts. There is no passive background scanning — ever.
No AI result reaches law enforcement without a trained human coordinator reviewing it first.
We only collect what the active mission requires. GPS telemetry is deleted after 90 days.
Our pipeline automatically obfuscates faces and non-suspect plates of innocent bystanders.
